We created Ascension Reiki to offer a sanctuary where the body can pause and restore naturally. Our practitioner-led sessions are designed to facilitate deep restoration, drawing on years of experience to help you return to a grounded state.

What to Expect in Your Reiki Session

A Reiki session is a quiet, gentle experience. You’ll lie fully clothed on a comfortable table while light, hands-on or hands-above-the-body touch is used to support your natural healing response. Many people feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation. You’re welcome to rest, breathe, or even fall asleep as your nervous system settles.

How to Prepare for Your Session

  • Preparation & Process: Please come fully dressed in loose/comfortable clothing. Please limit perfume or scents prior to session. Ideally please come showered and fresh. Optional to wear an eye mask during session. 

  • Physical Sensations: Clients often report feeling warmth, tingling, or cool sensations from the practitioner’s hands.

  • Mental & Emotional Effects: It is common to enter a deeply relaxed or meditative state, with some experiencing emotional release. Don't be surprised if the session leads you to a deep sleep. Benefits are still received when not fully awake or conscious.

  • Aftercare: The session concludes with the practitioner gently bringing you back to a fully awake state. You can resume all normal activities after your session.
